I'm in love with Three Dots, and have recently been toying with the concept that it's worth it to pay more for something that lasts for ever and is made by people who are paid slightly more than slave wages. $168 at Three Dots.
When I was in Santa Barbara, I went to Banana Republic. For reasons I can neither justify nor explain, the Santa Barbara Banana Republic is my favorite of all, and where I always find heavenly things. I tried on three perfect dresses. I bought the one that was on sale (and therefore unfindable on their site, sorry). The two that I'm still dreaming about (and please excuse the poor quality of the pics, but it was the best I could do with the obnoxious flash website) are the Silk Wrap Dress ($130), and the Studded Dress ($79). They are both fabulously flattering (on me), and I may yet decide to buy their wonderfulnesses.
Perfect for a summer wedding (especially if you're me, and in love with All Things Green). $165 at J.Crew.
I have silver shoes, and I don't think I need any other justification for NEEDING THIS. $148 at J.Crew.
I've been traveling and ridiculously busy and now my union's on strike, but regular posting will resume VERY soon, have faith.
